Dear Editor:
As a former south Floridian, I often recommend that my fellow Illinoisans attend a pro football or baseball game while on vacation down there. But when asked where the Dolphins and Marlins play, I am hard pressed to answer. Is it Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Park, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, Land Shark Stadium, or Sun Life Stadium? After we've played the name game, I don't know how to tell them exactly where the stadium is located. I have seen game datelines in the sports pages from Fort Lauderdale, Miramar, Miami, Miami Gardens, and unincorporated Miami-Dade County. I would bet that attendance at the stadium would skyrocket if you guys would pick one name and city like, say, Wrigley Field in Chicago.
